(Madrid, 1982). He grows up in Extremadura where he begins to discover photography by experimenting in a home lab. After ten years working as an ENG cameraman and director in different audiovisual formats, he decided to train at ESCAC specializing in Direction of Photography.
He has shot about twenty short films premiered at festivals such as Rotterdam, Sitges or Clermont-Ferrand, and some of them becoming finalists at the Goya Awards (“Los Cárpatos” by Daniel Remón, 2015), at the César Awards of the French Academy (“Ato San Nen” by Pedro Collantes, 2019) and the Gaudí Awards (“La Higuera” by Mikel Mas, 2019).
In 2020, he worked on the TV series “Antidisturbios” (Movistar +), created by Rodrigo Sorogoyen and Isabel Peña, where he was in charge of the cinematography of the two central episodes, directed by Borja Soler. He also premiered at Bienalle di Venezia the first feature film by Pedro Collantes “El Arte de Volver”.
In 2021, he has worked on the TV anthology series “Historias Para No Dormir”, making the cinematography of “El Doble”, the episode directed by Rodrigo Sorogoyen.
In advertising he has shot for brands like Netflix, Burger King, Thai National Team, STC with directors Alex Gargot, Nono Ayuso, Alan Masferrer or Luc Knowles.
He has shot in countries like Thailand, China, Saudi Arabia, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Armenia, France, United Kingdom or Senegal.
